Supplying Personal Protective Equipment during Covid-19 Pandemic to Healthcare Professionals

We at Argyle Textiles took an initiative to help the medical staff at various hospitals in Sri Lanka by donating medical gowns. These medical gowns provide a barrier between the patient and the health professional. This is especially true when the healthcare professional is dealing with an infectious disease such as Covid-19 at a hospital setting. Moreover, these gowns will prevent further transmission of the disease such as Covid-19 in the healthcare setting and it will also limit the morbidity and mortality of patients in their care, as well as themselves, their family members, and other members of the community to prevent a pandemic’s larger societal progression.
